This document was created by the Master Municipal Construction Documents Association which began in 1989 as a joint eff ort of ACEC British Columbia, BC Road Builders and Heavy Construction Association (BCRHCA), and the Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
A Joint Municipal Committee comprised of representatives of municipalities, contractors and the engineering profession had a mandate to create, standardize and improve tender and contract documents being used in the province.
The Client/Consultant Agreement document is a standardized agreement template to help build fair, equitable agreements between project partners.
