Eligible employers can receive up to 80% of the salary for a young professional under the age of 31 when hiring for full-time roles in the natural resources sector, or for roles that have a positive environmental impact.
Placements are limited, interested employers should apply as soon as possible.
ECO Employment Programs
For over 20 years, ECO has been connecting environmental employers and skilled junior talent through wage and training funding programs to drive valuable on-the-job work experience and essential skills development.
Thanks to the support of their funders – Natural Resources Canada, Climate Change Canada, Social Development Canada, and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada – they offer dollars to increase organization capacity and support businesses participation in the green economy.
