The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – British Columbia (ACEC-BC, the “Association”) will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 9:30AM PDT.
The meeting will be held for the purposes of:
- Receiving the Annual Report of the Association
- Electing the Board of Directors of the Association
To support broad member engagement, this year’s AGM will be hosted as a virtual event. An in-person social event is planned for later the same day.
Members wishing to attend are asked to register in advance and will be provided with login credentials 24-hours prior to the start of the event. Members are required to indicate their voting status during registration.
All attendees attending are afforded the same rights and opportunities regarding questions, voting, and motions.
Members who are unable to attend may register a proxy by completing the Form of Proxy before 12:00PM PDT on July 15, 2025.
Who can attend
The AGM is an open meeting, and we welcome voting and non-voting members of the Association as well as participants from partner organizations. Please note that only Voting Members will be allowed to ask questions or make comments during the Annual General Meeting. Guidelines for participation will be available in advance of the meeting and reviewed by the Chair prior to the start of the AGM proceedings.
Approval of 2025-26 Board of Directors
Following the call for nominations in March 2025, the ACEC-BC Nominations Committee met to review the candidates and make recommendations for election by members at the AGM. Per Association by-laws, additional nominees may be considered by the Voting Members if a letter of nomination is submitted not fewer than 15 days before the AGM or July 2, 2025. The slate of candidates recommended by the Nominations Committee is provided in the attachment 2025 ACEC-BC Continuing and Nominated Directors.
Additional Information
The 2025 Annual report, financial statements, and voting instructions will be emailed to all Voting Members the day before the AGM. The 2024 AGM minutes are available here.
In-person Social Event
During registration for the AGM, members will have the opportunity to register for an in-person social event on July 17, 2025. The social event supports member connection and is an opportunity for the Association and members to thank the outgoing Chair and Directors for their service.
