The Transportation Conference Organizing Committee is seeking proposals for presentations for the 2026 Transportation Conference!

Deadline to Submit: September 26, 2025

Topics of Interest for Abstracts

  • Indigenous engagement (including transportation projects for indigenous communities)
  • Emergency resiliency
  • New thinking in transportation planning and implementation
  • Case studies on international projects with ideas not yet adopted in BC
  • Innovation or sustainable materials in transportation
  • Artificial Intelligence and impact on transportation
  • Resources for the future of engineering
  • Emerging mobility technologies
  • Sustainable urban mobility
  • Contract models
  • Active transportation and existing infrastructure
  • Projects with big impact in local and small communities
  • AI and impact or benefits to the industry and how projects are delivered (including how handon/field work experience is invaluable)
  • Transportation planning for major events (e.g. FIFA, concerts, local street festivals)
  • Electric Vehicles and supporting infrastructure
  • Transit orientated development

Conference and Presentation Information

Session Date: January 28, 2026

Format: Virtual (presented live)

Time Duration: 45 minutes (including Q&A)

Proposals will be looked upon more favorably if different perspectives are present.
