Project Awards Intent to Submit

What is the Intent to Submit?
A quick form to let us know which projects you plan to enter. It takes about a minute, there’s no fee, and it helps our team prepare for judging. Please note that this is an optional step. If you identify a project to enter after the intent deadline, you will still be able to enter the project.

Award Guidelines
Awards Intent to Submit
Eligibility
  • All ACEC-BC members (in good standing) are encouraged and eligible for entry into the awards competition.
  • Joint submissions involving non-ACEC-BC members are acceptable only if an ACEC-BC member performed more than 50% of the engineering work (for the submitted component).
  • Each firm may submit one project per category, plus one additional project in a single category of its choice (up to nine entries in total).
Project Specific Rules
  • Date: Projects where the design and construction elements were completed between January 2026 – January 2027 are eligible.
  • Location: Only projects managed and largely engineered in a BC office are eligible.
  • Client Approval: Client confirmation of dates and approval to submit will be required during submission.
  • Category Selection: If the judges determine that the entry is better suited to a different category, they may reassign it at their discretion.
  • Entry Fee: $1350 + GST per project entry. To support members to celebrate with their clients, each entry includes 4 tickets to the Gala.
    • Note: The entry fee only applies to official submissions NOT the intent to submit entry.
