We are passionate about celebrating the innovative excellence of our members, their projects, and people.
For over 30 years, the ACEC-BC Awards for Engineering Excellence has been recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of Consulting Engineering companies across British Columbia.

Each year over 500 consulting engineering leaders, industry clients, and government officials gather for the much anticipated annual celebration of the internationally recognized innovation and technical excellence of ACEC-BC member firms.

Award Categories

Meritorious Achievement Award

The Meritorious Achievement Award recognizes an individual for outstanding contributions to the consulting engineering profession, the industry, and the community.

Young Professional Award

The Young Professional Award recognizes a young professional who has demonstrated excellence in consulting business practices, outstanding achievements in their applicable fields, and leadership in the community.

Client of the Year Award

The Client of the Year Award recognizes a client who encourages positive collaboration with consulting engineering companies through effective communication, fair and transparent processes, and respectful working conditions.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Award

The EDI Award recognizes individuals and/or organizations who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion through their actions, for example technical practice, people & culture processes, programs and policies, or externally through community engagement activities.

Awards for Engineering Excellence (Projects)

The Awards for Engineering Excellence demonstrate the value ACEC-BC member firms offer to clients as they celebrate technical excellence and recognize innovation in engineering that is simply a cut above the rest.
