Suzanne joined Thurber as a Geotechnical Engineer after completing her studies at Queen’s University in Kingston\, Ontario. Over the years she has worked her way up through the team and currently manages Thurber Engineering’s Vancouver Island operations. \nSuzanne has broken down barriers in a typically male-dominated industry as the first female Branch Manager at Thurber and the first female Partner in the company. An active member of the Geotechnical and Consulting community\, Suzanne is the Chair of the Board with the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies BC\, President of the Board with the Victoria Civil Heritage Trust\, and Secretary and Board Member with the Canadian Foundation for Geotechnique.
