DESCRIPTION:March 5  |  Virtual Event\n\n\nThe ACEC-BC Regulation Working group in collaboration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC invite you to join a workshop focussed on Independent Review of High-Risk Professional Activities or Work. \nIn April 2021\, Engineers and Geoscientists BC published a Quality Management Guide to the Standard for Documented Independent Review of High-Risk Professional Activities or Work (HRPAW). The guide was developed based on outcomes of regulation of professionals to support compliance with relevant Bylaws. \nAs a follow-on to the 2023 ACEC-BC publication “Independent Review of High-Risk Professional Activities or Work – Considerations for Design Consultants”\, the ACEC-BC Regulation Working Group invite you to join this workshop to discuss HRPAW including case studies\, observations from practice review\, and supportive discussion for engineers and geoscientists. The intent of the sessions is build understanding of HRPAW and share knowledge about risk assessment processes.
