DESCRIPTION:April 10  |  Virtual Event\n\n\nThe ACEC-BC Sustainability and Climate Change Committee invite you to join a Professional Development event on Climate Science for Resilient Design! \nThe effects of climate change are becoming increasingly evident across British Columbia and are projected to intensify in the future. As a result\, the past climate is no longer a reliable predictor of the future. Join us for a presentation on the use of future climate data for resilient infrastructure design. \nGuest speakers from Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium will introduce key climate concepts\, such as the differences between weather\, natural variability\, and climate and why that matters.
