ACEC-BC Announces 2026-2027 Board of Directors

The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – British Columbia (ACEC-BC) is pleased to announce its 2026-27 Board of Directors.

Taking on the role of Chair is William Johnston (WSP), who will lead the Board in advancing ACEC-BC’s mission and representing the interests of consulting engineering firms across British Columbia.

Joining William on the Executive Committee are Matt Gellis (Northwest Hydraulic Consultants) as Vice Chair and Treasurer, Erin Martin-Serrano (PBX Engineering) as Designated Director and Secretary, and Ian Steele (PBX Engineering) as Past Chair.

Tanya Sadlo, Chair of the Nominations Committee, highlighted the strength of this year’s Board:

Representing a diverse range of experience, perspectives, and firms, the Board reflects the strength of BC’s consulting engineering industry and the communities it serves. Many Directors have also contributed their time through ACEC-BC committees, task forces, and volunteer initiatives, highlighting the important role member engagement plays in shaping the future of the Association.

With a strong belief that we’re better together, ACEC-BC Board members are responsible for representing the interests of all members in everything the Association does. Along with ensuring strong governance and strategic alignment, the Board serves as the voice of the consulting engineering industry to policymakers, partners, and key stakeholders across British Columbia.
